With even more features and a modularly designed comprehensive package, our new generation of ventilators for newborns and premature babies is impressive. The new STEPHANIE not only offers high-frequency oscillation (HFO), a respiratory gas humidification system and the fully automatic oxygen saturation controller SPO2C. Thanks to the new proximal dual flow sensor, recording the respiratory flow of young patients is now more accurate than ever before. At the same time, device dead space is eliminated – for even more efficient and less stressful ventilation. The detachable 15” monitor with its touch function simplifies operation, allowing easy access of important data and analyses and quick adjustment of therapy measures.

The newly developed, proximal flow sensor with optimized dead space is a true breakthrough in neonatology. It not only allows respiratory flow to be recorded even more accurately, but also eliminates the device’s dead space, making ventilation more effective and reducing the risk of unwanted side effects.
  • Now possible with non-invasive ventilation: monitoring the tidal volume to adjust ventilation precisely to individual needs

Protecting the youngest: Fully automatic oxygen saturation control

Excessive oxygen can also have a lasting effect on the health of young ventilation patients. To prevent brain damage and loss of sight, STEPHANIE has an integrated SPO2C controller. The device measures oxygen saturation and automatically adjusts the ventilation parameters as required.

For patients who are breathing spontaneously and “only” require support, ventilation systems that adapt to respiratory regulation are essential. Our STEPHANIE does exactly that, thus ensuring that higher respiratory volumes are achieved with the same respiratory effort.
  • Safe therapy: continuous monitoring of respiratory effort, automatic backup ventilation if necessary (Closed Loop Ventilation)
  • Customized and needs-based at all times: pressure increase during inspiration proportional to the inspired tidal volume and/or respiratory gas flow
